At HamaraService, we are committed to ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are provided for services booked through our platform.

Eligible Refund Scenarios
✅ Full Refund (100%)
- Service provider did not show up within 60 minutes of the scheduled time
- Booking cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time
- Service could not be completed due to a fault on the provider's side
- Duplicate payment made for the same booking
- Technical error resulting in incorrect charge
⚠️ Partial Refund (50%)
- Booking cancelled less than 24 hours but more than 2 hours before the service
- Service partially completed due to unforeseen circumstances
- Quality of service was below the agreed standard (verified by our team)
❌ No Refund
- Service successfully completed and accepted by the customer
- Cancellation made less than 2 hours before service time
- Customer was unavailable at the time of service without prior notice
- Refund requested more than 7 days after the service date
Refund Timeline
- Initiation: Within 24–48 hours of approval
- UPI / Wallets: 1–3 business days
- Credit / Debit Cards: 5–7 business days
- Net Banking: 5–7 business days
Refunds are processed to the original payment method only.
How to Request a Refund
- Log in to your HamaraService account
- Go to My Bookings and select the relevant booking
- Tap Request Refund and describe your issue
- Our team will review and respond within 24 business hours

By accessing or using HamaraService (hamaraservice.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
These terms are governed by the laws of India and the jurisdiction of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Our Platform
HamaraService is a marketplace platform that connects customers with independent home service professionals. We are not the employer of service providers — they are independent contractors.
⚠️ HamaraService acts as an intermediary. The service agreement is between the customer and the service provider. We facilitate the connection, payment and dispute resolution.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate booking information (address, service requirements)
- Be present or arrange access at the scheduled service time
- Treat service providers with respect and professionalism
- Pay for services rendered in full
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Not use the platform for any illegal or fraudulent purpose
Service Provider Responsibilities
- Provide services as described and to a professional standard
- Arrive on time or give adequate notice of delays
- Maintain valid certifications where required by law
- Not solicit direct business from customers outside the platform
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information
Pricing & Payments
- All prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (₹) inclusive of applicable taxes
- Payments are collected securely through Razorpay
- Platform commission is deducted before provider payout
- HamaraService reserves the right to change pricing with 7 days' notice
Prohibited Activities
- Using the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Creating fake accounts or fraudulent bookings
- Posting false reviews or misleading information
- Attempting to circumvent platform fees by direct dealings
- Harassing, threatening or abusing other users or providers
Limitation of Liability
HamaraService shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages
- Quality of services provided by independent professionals
- Property damage caused by service providers (handled through insurance/disputes)
- Service delays due to force majeure events
Our maximum liability in any dispute is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question.
Account Termination
HamaraService reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Users may delete their account at any time from the Account Settings page.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
